Would-be suicide bombers also need to be told that the Koran does not promise them the services of beautiful virgins in the here-after. All they can hope for is eternal damnation.

They know the truth. They make me sick, hiding behind what they call a religion. No God of any religion, but Satan, would condone this terrorist tactics, and call it religion. Give me a BREAK. They should all rot in the deepest pits of hell.

I was told by Muslims that although the Koran teaches against suicide, Martyrdom is sacrificing your life for the "greater good". So they view it as Martyrdom rather than suicide. It is the motive behind the suicide.

I do not think that this a good enough excuse and think hurting any innocents is against any religious belief.

Most already know this. Only God (or if you prefer the Arabic, Allah) can take life. Suicide is haram (a sin). This is from the Koran. Every religion has its extremists. Non-Muslims should remember this and not follow their leaders into into putting all adherents into the one pot.

I am not a Muslim.

Most of them are aware of that but they keep quiet when their co-believe practise violence. When they preach - the very same person is so god fearing that you cannot believe that it is the same person.

I compare them with a typewriter that gives a wrong character at every hit on the key board. They preach something and practise totally against it.

It is not a matter of religion at all. It is only a cloak. As long as economic disparities exist, as long as the 'haves' do not bother about 'have nots' and as long as no attempts are made to form a just society, there is bound to be violence in one form or the other.

99% of all Muslims are quite aware of this.

Please keep in mind that the KKK considers themselves a Christian organization, as did the Nazis. People have long picked and chosen the bits of religion they like while ignoring the inconvenient parts.

Witness the current crop of fundamentalist Christians in the U.S. - they are some of the least Christian people I've seen.

I am a muslim myself, and I dont want to blow my self up, but those who do want to blow there selfs up "would-be suicide bomber" are actually brainwashed by people who were brainwashed and this cycle goes on, it all began with one person who understood the Holy Qor'an wrong, because he wasn't that smart, then again that is just my theory.

they are just using relion as an excuss 99.99% would not have anything to do with terrorism, the few who are suicide bombers and muslims know it wrong i think but i think its getting deeper than relion and terrorism, if my family were killed by the us army i would kill as many americans as possible if i used a bomb i would be called a terrorist when it would be justice,

I know someone who worked with a male Muslim, who was a nice ordinary easy to get on with guy. She once asked him "if his 'leader' told him that for the greater good, he should come into work and shoot them all dead, then would he follow these orders". He replied to her "I would do anything my 'leader' told me to, if the 'leader' says it then it is not to be questioned and it should be followed through, it must be for a good reason.'. End of story! So truly, are they to be trusted?? (I forgot the name of the 'leader')
