Four Lancashire youths were rescued by the West Yorkshire Cave Rescue from a flooded cave (Gaping Ghyll) near Ingleton. A young man from Kendal was also found. Westmorland Gazette (1961) Actually they all worked for the same firm in Blackburn and were together - sure you could make something out of this. Was he alive? Was he prehistoric? Was he dead? Had he been murdered?

There was a story in the Bucks Advertiser and Gazette some years ago about a lady in Gerrards Cross who ended up under siege by the police and presumably the armed response squad because she opened the door to ( I think) the meter reader armed with a crosbow! She thought he was the gas man come to cut her off!
