That would be rather difficult. Especially since everything you have to do is far away. Just biking 5 miles takes 30-40 minutes. My option would be carpooling first, then Bart/Bus.

Get a Vespa......a retro looking italian scooter, it's adorable and uses something like a third of the gas for about 3,000.00

no. I have three kids with me everywhere I go. I have learned to just deal with the uprise in fuel costs.
