By definition it is infinite.
Universe as defined by the Princeton dictionary is "everything that is anywhere” to me that is as infinite as something can get.
If we look at what we think of as the universe well infinite becomes a little different. Common acceptance of the universe is the "space" we are in. This is the "area" created by the big bang. While this area is expanding faster then the speed of light so we can never get to the end it is believed that there is an end on the other side of this "end" is nothing, yet how do we know it is nothing outside the end of our current "universe" we have never been there or can at this point get there. So there could be other universes outside the boundary of our own universe.

The universe is only infinite in the same way earth is. You can walk around earth and never find an end, you just keep going. The universe is the same way but in all directions includin up and down.

The Universe in a way is finite as it only contains what is causally connected at this present time.
As spacetime expands this "area" increases to include more spacetime which already existed but was not causally connected before. Think of it as a receeding horizon, you can see further but it was always htere.
From a philosophical point of view it is very finite.
From other points of view it is infinite.

nah the universe is really big so no one man would be able to live through the journey it would take to go right across the universe but it isnt infinate also because of things like gravity and debris you would be put off corse and you wouldnt be able to make it across the universe thats why people think it is infinate

Astronomers seem to be discovering a curvature at the far edge of their range. This would suggest that our 'universe' has finite boundaries.
Still too far to go for a hot dog and coke, tho.
