Hi again,folks,
(You always get a better class of persons on 'Polls & Surveys'-agreed?)
Have you a fault ,either physically, or a personality trait ,that you could change and it would either enhance your life or change it dramatically for the better if you did change it?
In my case, I procrastinate. (For you younger viewers, that means that I put things off to do until later. And later......and later....)
I'd love to stop procrastinating, but I keep putting it off.
Vicious circle,really......
If you haven't dealt with your fault- why?
(Answer both points to go into the hat for best answer.....)

Dear erinella2,
I'm beginning to think that when it comes to procrastinating, the more you think about doing it, the more time you end up putting between thinking about doing it and actually doing it.......so just do it.
Does that make sense?
When I did my first parachute jump,in 1983,if I had procrastinated as much as I do at present, the damn plane would still be up there with me in it.
No,it would have run out of fuel.

I'm self-pitying. Have no self-esteem. Don't know if that counts as one or two things but I really need to change both of 'em.

I too procrastinate. I always have. I have a hard time getting motivated with the task at hand. It's a huge pet peeve of mind. I wish I knew how to change this fault of mine. Any advice?

I smoke too much, Need a kick in the a** to do anything around the house, and for the life of me cant see how other people have so much energy to do things. It took me 5 months to put a stupid outlet cover on an electrical outlet next to the kitchen sink! I pretty much suck.

i am too distracted and changing that would make my life a lot better and a lot easier too. as a result of this, i don't really listen to what people say to me (sometimes it is important information but...), i don't pay attention to no one and nothing, and at work i have to redo many things and ask many unnecessary questions over and over again just becoz i never really pay attention to stuff. arghhhh

i haven't dealt with it coz i never really put my heart to it. i say i wanna be more focused but i know i don't really mean it or else i would have made efforts to. so...

Well my biggest fault is lack of ambition...to be precise I just can¸t find anything that I¸m interested in, even if I find something, it keeps me interested for a very short period...You could say I know a lot about everything but nothing in detail...

Similar to yourself, I'm a bit lazy and procrastinate.
I'd love be one of those go-getters with loads of energy, get up at 5am and go to the gym before work etc. etc.

I haven't done anything about it because, basically, I can't be @rsed!

My worst fault is that i overanalyse everything that people say to me and start worrying about things and exaggerating them in my head. ive just bought a book called women who think too much so hopefully that will give me some ideas for stopping!

i get over excited at the smallest of things and it makes me look really childish, i think i need to see things in a more mature manner, but i just love having a good time all the time and somtimes i forget where i am.
