I agree with you. Just the same as the people who are on here asking unintelligent questions and just looking to cause some drama they need to leave too just as the people on here looking for dates. This is NOT yahoo chat but yahoo answers.
I looked at your questions I did NOT look at the answers people gave you yet. However your questions seem fine to me. Maybe people are giving you rude remarks for answers cause they think you are one of the people on here messing around and such, or they are out to get their 2 points. If you dont like their answer click that little flag by their answer and report them.
As for the guy about who said kids aren't suppose to be using this site. You are wrong about that cause they have categories for teens, and homework help and such topics for kids. This site is just not for adults. ( In case you are wondering, NO I am NOT a kid I am an adult.)

I know how you feel. All I can say is it used to be different. This WAS the place to go if you needed to know things that were important to you. It was much more community oriented, and you really felt a kinship to the people you were typing with! I know in January I had a HUGE dilemma in that my cat brought a huge rat into the house and I ran upstairs to get some protective wear (? I have no idea?) and came down and it was gone. So I posted my Question "Can a cat actually eat a rat?" and I got 20 responses from people who actually cared! Then after a couple months things started getting more political, then there were kids that started (and seem to have overtaken the site) and soon it became all about getting the points. In the beginning there were points, but they didn't matter, it used to be cool and now I just get kind of depressed that I spend anytime at all on it. So I hope that helps!!:) a little ha - ha? The concept is great and it used to be great I don't know what Yahoo can do to bring it back (unless they start charging a nominal fee for it to weed out people that just want to create hassles?)

If you know this site, you should also know that rude and stupid answers are to be expected. Sorry you have such a negative result with you Q's. Some questions on this site deserve rude answers if for no other reason than to shock the questionner out out of their self-centered orientation. Good Luck!

Very well said, I totally agree with you. I've asked some serious questions and got a lot of crap from the young and ignorant.
I think if you don't agree with what I am asking, than there is a proper way to approach that. I would like to see other peoples views without all the unnecessary crap

It took me a few days to see that even my sincerest responses could be seen as rude; however, my responses are generally better than those who say "Two points" or those who ignore the information you included in a question and answer with that same information. *GRrRr!* I hate that. I think what is the matter is who is drawn to spend time here includes many people who don't have anything else to do besides what they "ought" to be doing. And for me to give a straighter answer than that is very rude.

Appears to be a lot of immaturity here. Some I'm certain is from kids pretending to be smart alecs. Other's from adults who truly believe that they are being funny etc. Have to agree with your statement, wish Yahoo could censor questions better. Kids aren't suppose to be using this site and I have seen 11 year olds looking for people to chat with here. What the hell.

I agree honey but some people just can't help it. Some people are just sarcastic by nature but in general, this is not one of the best places to ask serious questions. If you do have a serious question, please state that in your question so that those of us who are serious about answering will do so accordingly. Just ignore the ignorant as my father would say.

I also get upset sometimes , however we can't do any thing about other peoples rudeness . I've just learned to ignore them and not to take their childish antics personally . Weed through the crap and go from there . Good luck and don't give up or they might take over !

well, you need to accept that fact that it takes all kinda people to make this world....how will you appreciate the good ones if you dont experience the bad.....i suggest when you are on such a site where there are all kinda people and no one is restricted from saying what they have to,you just just ignore what you feel is not relevant for you, rather getting upset and spoiling your day!!be happy and live happy!!

Just another fact of life....rude people exist everywhere!
You want serious answers? Then make it clear when you ask the questions. Otherwise, all you can do is ignore them.
