actual hippys were dirty disgustingly smelly people, i really hope that doesn't come back, as for the philosophy of the sect, some of us still ad hear to some of the beliefs, i did not then and i will not now abstain from bathing or smell like patchouli. peace,(note i did not say peace out thats stupid).

hippy is a state of mind!!! We are all still out there you just have to look around and be open enough to see us! :)

There are still people around who believe in peace and love. We also love the Earth and hate to see it being destroyed by the greed of corporations and the chicanery of politicians.
I'm glad to see there are so many of us around.
