I usually draw the line right around the ant hill before I spray. The line helps me keep focused.

Ants aren't members of the animal kingdom and I don't think animals have rights. We humans have a duty to refrain from causing injury to animals intentionally, but they can't enter into contracts or vote. You're probably smoking some good stuff right now. Me too.

Normally I'd say no, if you torched a bunch of ants in your back yard no one is gonna give you any grief over it.

But, if you torch a bunch of ants on a movie set while filming a picture.... I think you'll hear about it from the animal rights activists....

DO you want the RSPCA or a large conservation group on your door when you kill the last of an ant species? They have rights. They are pests but they do a good clean up job for the earth.

GREAT QUESTION! Animal rights people will tell you killing rats for medical research is murder. But killing flies for medical research isn't.

Well guys....you're hypocrites. Flies and ants are animals. They're not cuddly...they're not cute...and they're not mammals....

But they are still animals. Hell even yeast are technically animals. Every animal rights person...who eats bread...is by their own definition a serial killer!

It's time to stop personifying human emotions and feelings onto animals. Most animals are pretty stupid...and certainly don't experience things like love. It's just that they're so cute...so they must love us right???

When in danger of becoming extinct, and we are aware of it, then yes they will have animal rights.

It will be our duty to prevent extinction of their species and we would then need to rethink about stepping on ants.

With more ants than dogs on this planet, I guess we need not be overly concerned as of yet.

No animals have rights. It is a made up thing the liberal hippies made up. If animals have rights why do we eat them, cage them, fence them in the back yard?

I am sure they draw the line at mammals. I don’t think they care about insects or reptiles.

Ants are not animals. They are just little crunchy things under your shoe after stomping.
