The great love of my life-a Turk. He liked that I dress in Caftans, and if I wore long pants, loose fitting tops over them. I was usually quiet around him when with other people, and let him take the lead on conversations, and I found he always included me in as the most important person there when we were around people.
I never flirted with other guys, and I guess never even looked at them eye to eye, or gave any indication that they were male-just people. They always knew we were together, and hands off.
I must admit, tho, the second we met each other, we were smitten. We had so much in common, from interests, to religion, to wants for the future.
Because of children I had, I could not marry him and move to Turkey. I still so often think of him.

You can't MAKE anyone like you. However, you can make yourself more likeable. To do this show an interest in others and they will show an interest in you. Be kind to others and they will show kindness to you...you get the idea.
To get your man you need to attract his attention. This is another question and as a female I'm sure you can think of some answers - but you could ask him out for a cup of coffee and a chat - much better than a date or night club where you can't hear each other.

Just be yourself. He is used to girls chasing after him, so don't do that.
Be sincere, talk to him and be natural. Relax, show confidence in yourself, have an open heart and let things develop naturally.
If he's as cool as you say, your down-to-earth and spontaneous qualities will mean more to him than any other girl's attempt of trying too hard.

You cannot make him like you. Don't try to hard to impress him he will find you disgusting, You need to let him know how you feel about him and then maybe he can get to know you better and eventually he might like you.
