In the military, I was in transit for 56 hours. That was also the longest time I ever stayed awake. I came from The Phillipines to chicago but made stops in Japan, Guam, Diego Garcia, Hawaii, California (L.A. during the Rodney King riots) finaly Chicago.

Toronto to Mauritius is pretty long - takes you about 32 hours to get there. About 21 hours of flying time plus 8 to 11 hours waiting around in an airport at one stop (either London or Paris). Fortunately us silly wabbits is easily amused by the little TV screen - the one that shows the position of the plane on the world map during the flight!

Man- that was a long flight! Me, 18 hours- from the states to Germany, but with 3 kids (ages 2-6) it seemed MUCH longer!

I would bet some American Presidents might have a close record with that one..Perticularly the Presidents that flew the Propeller driven Planes.

Singapore to Atlanta 26hrs.. including transit abt 2 hrs..

no not as long as that, but i spent 12 and a half hours in a plane from north carolina to germany.

about 13 or 14 hours, on a flight from saudi arabia to USA.

I've never been on a plane before and I doubt I ever want to ... I'm afraid of heights!*cowers*
