no kids can go to the mall alone and on dates and be safe. they can party all night long and they are big enough to watch out for themselves but when it comes Monday morning the bus has to stop at their front door toot the horn sit and wait for the kids to stumble out the door. back when I was a kids they had these things called bus stops. we had to walk to the end of the road. sick with the flu, cramps and bleeding or throwing up. now they get door service. man to be a kids these days. my parents took me to school most the time, but when I rode I walked too the one of 2 bus stops in my neighborhood.
dato you can't pass a bus. gees change lanes i've never thought of that. DUH

Hmmm... sounds like you need to get your car a "Go Baby Go" Button (NOS)... then buses wont be a problem! unless theres lots of oncoming traffic, but then again its not a good idea to over take with a bus on the side of the road, dont know where those little kids are going to run!
Yeah the kids here are getting fatter as well... I like the spread the bus stops apart idea!

Blame the parents!!! Most bus companies would rather have one stop per street, but parents complain that their children should be picked up and dropped off right in front of their house. It saves the parents time in the morning if the child's only responsibility is to make it to the end of the property line. It is CRAZY and wastes fuel.

I know what you mean. I hate to get behind a bus. I know my blood runs up....Stopping every moment then sitting. I live less then a mile from the JR high and High school and never saw a walker unless it's some guys walking around noon who skipped...

lol. I understand. When I worked, there was a bus that I always seemed to get behind every morning. I eventually either left a couple of minutes early, or took a different route.

that's ridulous. The bus should stop once, at the beginning of the gate. The kids who live at the end... oh well. they be more in shape than the rest.

Leave a few minutes earlier so you can get out before the bus.
