what did you think of the latest 3 star wars movies did you think they were good or did you think they shuold have stoped after the original 3
im a massive star wars fan and thought they were great

I think the reason so many people were disappointed with the last 3 Star Wars film is because when the first 3 came out in the late 70's and early 80's, the graphics were so much better than anything ever seen before. Unfortunately, when the last 3 came out people were again expecting something new and very different. But since the rest of the film industry had caught up with George Lucas, they didn't seem as outstanding as the first 3.
I remember standing in line forever to get tickets to the first Star Wars film even a year after it was released. It was so different from anything ever seen before in theaters that everyone went back to see it over and over again. But things have changed so much in the past 25 to 30 years that what was amazing then just isn't now.
It isn't as much that the films weren't as good as it is the fact that our expectations were too high for a George Lucas film.

Im a huge fan of star wars aswell. No i think it was good the way they did the 3 new ones because it gave a lot of background history. It also let us see the history between all of the characters. I wasnt too fond of episode2 however. I think the old versions are much better.

George Lucas should be tried for crimes against humanity for making any of the Star Wars movies.

I will always like the original better but the newer ones a good.

i think the new trilogy is better than the original trilogy.
it's more action packed, more jedi's and light sabres and battles.
the original just doesn't look as good and is slow and boring in places.
