Hey, I didn't mean to offend anyone. I just heard it and was curious. Everyone sure seems to be quick to jump all over anything another person says!

If it offends everyone this much, I'm going to delete the question. I won't be back on Yahoo Answers after this -- you people have too much attitude. What's wrong with asking a question just to have a discussion about it?

Does it really matter? I'll answer that question for you. No.
Just because some one is atheist, that doesn't mean that they're bad people or anything. We are judged all the time, but we have a consience to. Just because we don't believe in a higher power doesn't mean we can't distinguish the difference between right and wrong.
And if you're not saying this offensively and just asking out of curiosity, I'm sorry for jumping to conclusions, but we get ridiculed often for stupid reasons.

no ones abusing really they're just saying that it's not important. an answer just as worthy as the question. Steve Irwin did a lot for conservation in australia and was an icon, so we find his religious beliefs a little bit irrelevant. we australians are a little touchy at the moment after losing two of our great icons in one week (RIP peter brock). don't take it too personally.

I don't believe Steve Irwin was an atheist cause I seen an interview he done with Larry King and he was talking about that he was blessed so greatly by God to have the job that he had and the family he did. He also went on to talk about how he came to know Christ through his job and the people around him everyday on that job. He was no athiest by far.

Everybody really did come off something different for a simple question.
Sounds to me, all of you who perhaps do not believe in God really showed just how unGodly you are!! This was only a question being asked! GEEEEZE!!
For the asker, I would not let this handful of people discourage me into not doing anything. If you want to ask a question again, just ask it. Don't ever put too much into people, they will let you down every time.
Maybe someone PISSED in their cornflakes!! lol
To the question, I never heard he was atheist but that does not mean that he wasn't. If he was atheist, THEN THAT IS REALLY TOO BAD FOR HIM TO DIE AND NOT BELIEVE IN GOD!!
