No. The closest place would be Gatlinburg. It's only about 2 hours north of Chattanooga. February in Chattanooga you probably will not even need a heavy jacket but don't forget your umbrella.

Chattanooga Tennessee? Good Luck not much snow there.

Chattanooga's climate is best characterized as having hot, humid summers and cool, damp winters. The prevalence of humid conditions in the summer often encourages the development of thunderstorms and, on occasion, more severe weather. The hottest days of the summer are usually in late July or early August. The coldest days of the year are usually in mid or late January. Chattanooga averages about 54 inches (137.2cm) of precipitation per year over 122 "wet" days. Snow is relatively rare in the city proper and adjacent valleys, but significant accumulations occur in the higher elevations to the north and west of the city at least once every winter. Despite the lack of snow, low temperatures often fall below freezing in the winter. The last time there was any significant snowfall on Christmas Day was in 1969.

I went to the Univ of Tenn at Chatt from 1967 to 1971. We only had two snows each year for the four years I was there. Not much snow fell during any of those snows and what did fall either didn't last long or quickly turned to ice. If this trend has continued, then I rather doubt you will be doing any snowboarding there.

For skiing: if you mean water skiing you might be able to. Snow skiing is definitely out.

If you go to "onthesnow.com" website you'll find tons of info.
Gatlinburg, Tenn is mentioned and if you've never been you're
in for the most beautiful experience. Tennessee is by far the
best place to be. I live in New England where there's lots of
snow in the winter but I'd go to Tenn any day. Hope you have
a great trip!
