What do you think of the film version of Memoirs of a Geisha?

I really enjoyed it... very touching and realistic. And wow! How vicious and cruel people can be toward one another.

I never saw it but read the book. The book was very good, and I do want to see the film version.

It was rather boring and mundane. It seems that scene by scene walk at slow pace and there is no a point where the climax is. It could have been improved, though.

Whats a Geisha now? okay i know what a geisha is, it women of prostitude, i think it stinks, the book must've stunk too, cause i never heard of it, and if theres anyone out there whos a bibliophilic nerd, its gotta be me

Whatever you do don't watch it, it's the worst film i've seen for a long time. It's quite boring actually. I watched 30 mins and i couldn't watch the rest!!

hmmm,... if you ask me, then the book was a bit better. i would have made a few things a bit differently.

the book was way too confusing to read........the movie was pretty good
