Yes and No.
As always it depends on the individuals involved.
No one else can know for sure what someone else is experiencing.
But as older people we tend to assume that younger people can't possibly understand what "true" love is all about because they can't possibly have experienced everything that goes along with it, having only been alive for a short period of time ;)
Then again there are those of us who experienced our truest most powerful love at a younger age so we can understand.
I think in most cases it's a combination of both. At the time, to you it is "true love" and that's all that really matters. As you mature your love probably will too.
Either way, love is a gift to be grateful for :)

True love is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow it has not and will not ever change Its up to the individual to determine what they think true love is.Love is patient and kind but it is also understanding, listening to each other being there no matter what, and a host of other things, True love is a hard one what is true love today may not be tomorrow.

well...i think teenagers can probably run away with it. like, all the feelings that the first person you ever love will be with you forever and if they're not, you'll just die. yeah, it's love, but teenagers, i think, really need to consider that they shouldn't get so serious about things. yes, people marry their high school sweethearts and are happy. i think it's better, though, to focus on finding out who you are a little bit, (no, you don't know, it's an ongoing process. i could wake up completely changed tomorrow). dating is important to social development, yes, but don't get so serious in your relationships. date around. have fun. (don't be a sl*t)

Yes. just because we are young and for the most part immature doesn't mean that we're dumb. we can feel just like anybody else! There are quite a few teens out there who can meet some one and think they're totally and completely in love, but the way I see it, if somebody thinks they're in love, they're wrong. When one falls in love that one is absolutely possitive of his/her feelings. There is no ambiguity whatsoever at all, and teens can just as easily distinguish the difference between true belief and doubt as an adult can.

I believe that true love does not come until one understands what it means to give unconditionally, to sacrifice, to understand, to accept; and I believe that although we feel attraction, attachment, and lust as a teenager, that true love is not attainable until we are older. It is true that you'll never forget your first "love" but when you do find the love of your life, you will look back and see that a teenage love is (usually) far from what you'll have as an adult. I want to add that some people do find their true love when they are teenagers, and some people are able to have that before most.

Yes, it is true love. It may not be mature love, meaning that you don't truly know yourself until a little later in life, but it is love nonetheless that you will remember for the rest of your life.

you have seen, girls rule, boys druel.for girls we look for the very best man to father our children.(the fittest) boys look for any place they can lay their tool in, then run on to the next flower to pollenate. want to see love in action. watch a ferret mating. or a tom cat.better a Brahman bull with a herd of heifers. these are NOT love, don't be confused by body twetches and eye flutter, or a shiney rock. look at old people out in public, at the mall you will see LOVE and the actions between them.

No. Teenagers are not emotionally mature enough to know what true love really is. Trust me, the older you get, the more you look back and realize you didn't know what you were thinking, and really didn't know what it was all about. I remember what it felt like to know everything, and then grow older and much wiser. :o)

when we enter this special period of our life we require attention from opp. sex & this aspiration makes us feel attracted towards the opp.sex and we consider it love. altough it is not bad or un \natural but one should try to focus our mind and soul towards future goals
