Based on the old nusery rhyme

London Bridge is falling down
falling down, falling down
London bridge is falling down
My fair lady

It is based on the rhyme to do with a book called pygmallion by Bernard Shaw which in turn is the film My Fair Lady

Fergie is an english nickname reference to the dutchess of york who is called the namesake

Sarah Fergerson

when your london bridge is falling down in slang can mean two things

Your guard but i think fergie means it by her knickers!

Espeically as the video is so sexual and the references point to that direction

But again the video is a mistake as the bridge featured in the video is tower bridge not London Bridge!

But it is a irrelvant song i must admit lsiten to most songs in the chart and they don´t relate to anything!

Americans often think that Tower Bridge is called London Bridge. Which is why everyone laughed so much when back in the early 80s a rich Texan (I think) bought London bridge and had it shipped brick by brick and had it rebuilt over there. He thought he was buying Tower Bridge. When he tried to buy Tower Bridge, after someone explained the difference, he was most upset at being told it was not for sale at any price.

You could try seeing if the song is listed on songmeanings.net I spend far too long on there sometimes!

Random thing.. but I noticed in the video she's singing "London Bridge" but I think they actually show Tower Bridge.

Does she not man Tower Bridge?

Maybe she's being rude....

Maybe it's a reference to the old nursery rhyme London Bridge is falling down?
