No. Regrowth from shaving causes spots and boils, and it feels like sandpaper.

Much better to trim the pubic area neatly.

However if you do want a long lasting smooth feel there a two routes you can take-
1. Waxing. Painfull at first, but after a few days healing you will be very smooth and the hair will grow back finer and softer.

2. Laser Hair Removal. An expensive and mildly painfull course of treatments that will remove the hair permanently.

Personally i would stick to a monthly trim

Pubic hair is there to absorb sweat, but these days deodorants and anti-perspirants have effectively made pubic hair redundant. Esthetically, too much pubic hair can look unsightly and might be a turn-off. There's nothing dangerous about shaving your pubic regions except you should be very careful not to nick yourself. You should also make sure that the area is very clean before you do it as it is easy to get an infection. You should also use a cold cream to calm your skin afterwards.
By the way, women are more likely to participate in oral sex with a man who has a well-groomed member than one which will give the girl an unwanted flossing.
You could do it to surprise your partner or even get her involved with it. It should be fun either way.
I know my wife prefers me to be trimmed.

I like it when my partner shaved. He did it for me and it showed he was willing to make the effort. I mean Ive dressed up, try to remember to shave a lot do my hair and my make up so I was really chuffed when he did it.
But it itched like mad when it grew back and he viowed he would do it again. Plus I gave him friction burn - any excuse.

Most women I have been intimate with either like it shaven or closely trimmed. They definitely don't like stubble!
