Last couple of weeks the local supplies in the West Yorks areas seem to have run dry as a bone. Is this just a localised problem or is it nationwide? When will end my local pizza take away is really feeling the pinch too.

You're not talking water are you?
It seems like it's national. I'm off it just now anyway, but I hear that the price has doubled for the few that can get it.
Silly really, as it just makes pushers tempt people with other, harder stuff.
I wish they'd just legalise it, it can't create any more problems than drink!

Most droughts are local, seeing as rainfall does vary from place to place. I doubt that in our lifetimes we'll ever see a drought anywhere in Scotland. That said, I'm very suprised that there's one in Yorkshire, considering how far North it is.

When you say dry as a bone, do you mean you are getting no water whatsoever? If so, you're not talking about a drought. If there was a drought then hosepipe bans would have been in place for months, and someting as major as no water left would definitely be all over the news!

My theory is that it is much more likely that your local water main has broken, and you won't get any more water until its fixed. But don't worry: when a main gets broken, the water companies fix them pretty quickly.

There's a dry-up in the West of Scotland. We have to go to the east coast for our ganja.

Mostly national. Except for where I live. We're able to use as much water as we like. Bad luck, by the way.
