Depends on what you belive is the answer, I in my ways don't view countrys are good or bad thing, It comes down to the people of that country. and India is like every-where-else, you have the good and the bad, regardless of where you go. So is india good or bad, there is no clear anwser.

India is good. Some of India's people are good. India's government is bad.

good for what, and bad for what - this is for opinion, right?
I know many people from India (not Native Americans) and they are wonderful people. But they are not in India now, so what does that say about the country they left? Many have become educated and returned to imporve their country, but selfishness is a distraction so they do not improve things for everyone.
But I have heard it is very crowded.

Can a nation be good or bad?
The reality depends on the people in it.
Seems from the Christian Old Testament that even God will consider a nation good or bad based on percentages.
