I'm from Croatia and I've lived here all my life :)
The spring time is the best, but it depends on which cities you want to visit, what do you want to do.. It also depends on where you come from, 'cause if you're from some northern country, summer in Croatia will be too hot for you, and if you're from some southern country, winters will be too hard to bare.
There is tonnes to do here, Zagreb (the capital) is the most developed city - it offers as much as any other European city. And the nature is so beautiful anywhere you go, especially along the coast.
