take the messenger out with both barrels. i mean really! didn't he learn that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all?

Always! That's why there was a need for the rule, "Don't shoot the messenger." That answer pertained to the 1st part of your question. I'm not touching the second part. I don't like pain.

You breaking the rule "don't shoot the messenger" will get you no where except more frustrated. Vent on the responsible party, it will make things much more tolerable.
