I wish they'd invent a machine I put on my head and it transfers the information from a book directly to my brain! That way I won't have to waste time studying for an exam!!!

I am waiting for a REAL cyber-chat. All we do is type to each other. It's like the telegraph.
I am wondering how far away we are from a real "cyber-cafe" - everyone would wear goggles, headphones, microphone, etc. and have the experience of our avatars talking and moving in a 360 degree environment. Like the Holodeck on Star Trek. There was also a film, Wild Palms, on TV a while back that had these ideas.
Yes, there would be porno applications too. They will probably lead the way . . .

I am currently working on a Time-Space manipulator based on ideas proposed from the Theories of relativity (General and others) and also Quantum theory of particular physics.
The results so far has been outstanding however we have lost 3 Guinea pigs and one chihuahua for the sake of science off cause (please don't get any ethic Society on our back).
When completed the user will be able to slow down (Elongate) and speed up (compress) time within certain parameters. (Fun Eh)
We deduce we can attain some remarkable understanding of the Guinea pig's experiences with actual human subjects.
Anyone perhaps interested?
(assured you will be remembered as a scientific pioneer or U could always see Ur-self as some kind of astronaut)

a specially inserted device in your head that can be used as a phone to receive or send calls. All you have to do is think of who you want to call and say a special word to make that call. You then talk within your head without speaking.
It sounds dumb, but you know someone has thought about this.

i think if we have self cleaning windows, why not self cleaning plates, and cutlery
or how about a machine that combs your pets hair for you - i have a long haired cat that tries to eat you should you try and comb his fur - a machine that makes that easy and possible would be great!
eeeerrrrrrmmmmmmmmmm............ or a chocolate bar that contains absolutely no calories and no fat whatsoever, but still tastes as divine as Galaxy!
