how am i supposed to land the dragon in aviyond?

i just got the dragon rider. but after i am on the dragon's back i cant reach the ground anymore. is there anyone who can help me out from this misserable condition? and there are some blinking circles in every city on each land. what i have to do with that?

Perhaps you've got to collect those blinking circles, that or they might be places where you can land, sorta like landing lights on a runway???? Good Luck in your quest :)=
