Because Congress will not approve such a major expenditure in the name of exploration alone. Apollo was sold on the basis of preventing communists from taking over the high ground of space. It was done to win the space race. When USA won it, the incentive for travelling that far into empty space disappeared very quickly. Now there is no incentive.

Also, for those that do not believe that the Apollo mission was real, how do you explain 4 billion year old rocks from the moon on the earth? The oldest rocks on earth are only 3.8 billion years old.

I will not agree that the moon landing spot is on the other side not visible from the earth.

1. If so,how did they decide it as the right place to land with primitive telescopes?.

2.Moon is NOT stationary. It is also rotating on its own axis at a different speed from the earth and also it is revolving around the earth.Definitely,if you point a telescope powerful enough, then within few years the true face will appear.

3.When Hubble can study the the distant galaxies and track the shoemaker levy comet which was moving,is it NOT possible to focus it on moon. They will say, they never thought of it and we should have asked for it.

4.Finally why these "moon men"are so secretive and do not interact with the the public and share their experience?.

The government claims that the site where the astronauts landed is on the side of the moon that is not visible from Earth since we cannot see the entire surface of the moon as it orbits our planet.

I am waiting to see these answers. It seems like this would be one of the first practical demonstrations of the "powerful telescopes."
