I've known Alex for 7 years an we get along well, but we're not best friends. The funny thing is that I keep having dreams (for some years) about him - every guy in my dreams ends up being him - even if he looks different I just know it's Alex, and we're always deeply strongly madly in love. It's really confusing because when I'm awake I don't fell anything for him. Is my subconscious giving me signals?

I think your subconscious is just expressing how good of a friend he is. Sometimes I dream that I am intimate with good female friends, and I am a happily married woman. When I spend time with them, ie go shopping, then the dreams stop.

Boy talk about signs. Most relationships start when people have known each other for a long time. I'm a prime example for that. I have been friends with my boyfriend since I was a little girl. I always told myself if it was meant to be I would get signs. The main thing that i didn't want was to mess up our friendship because i really cherish it. But there was always a "what if". In your case i think you do like him. You have known him for 7yrs. You know what he like and dislike. Go with you gut or follow your heart. Only you know how you feel.

Yes you like him and deeply attracted towards him. It can your affection but not love. As you feel nothing about him just dream about him and it is clear that he is just a smart guy .Love is a thing which can not be explained easily and Sometimes a single sight is enough to be in love .And sometime a whole life look so short for love.

Wow i don't know that's pretty weird and you say you don't like him in the real world. i don't know we never know maybe not now you like him but you could have a future together in like 8-9 years we never know what's going to happen in the future. Don't flirt with or anything just keep being friends and if you become more than friends maybe you could have a future together you never know

dreams are not real baby . it's just infatuation. just b'coz u got a dream doesn't mean that he loves u 2. so i feel that u shud share dis xperience wid alex only if u feel that he has a soft corner for u somewhere,or else he mite think u r makin' it all up.

Well, you are probably infatuated with him, (yeah, in spite of knowing him for years) Think about how you feel when you are with him. Do you really feel special? Do you want him to feel special? Ask yourself these questions and you will know the answer yourself
