yes i agree b,coz they are simply mad and running like cats behind rats and have jumped on there own leg and they still think they are alive and will soon gonna save them from some threat inccident. as they think they willingly put themselves in danger and create a problem for girls and atlas none other than girls save them.

To answer your question: no.

However, people are looking for adventure and excitement. Facts are, that we've managed to create a comfortable, fairly easy life, particularly in the US and other western nations.

But, humans realize there is more. We want adventure. We know there is evil that must be confronted. We want purpose in our lives. We seek true contentment.

Comics present those aspects of life which we crave. Is it healthy? Possibly to a degree. Possibly taken too far it is driving people "mad". But so do movies and TV.

However, cutting off or chastising the desire for those things is NOT the answer. That would be even MORE unhealthy. People need to realize what they really want and need: God. Pascal said we all have a God shaped vacuum in our hearts.

Seeking God will provide adventure (no it's not being "nice" and going to church!) purpose and ultimately, contentment.

In short, don't bash comics for the human condition.

A substitute for heros in real life.

"Heros" today have become synonymous with big money. A shallow measure at best.

There will always be unsung heros. Our media ignores them. Their heroics are often short lived "news". Think 9/11. Those who survived, (thousands), are suffering life long illnesses from their exposure. If asked, I'm sure they would do it again.

Hollywood has succeeded in producing "false heros". Think about their inpact on society.

Yes, comics are affecting teh minds of young children. They start believing that such a superhero actually exists & then have all kinds of fantasies abt them. This can often lead to very difficult & dangerous situations.
