Yes, he has demeaned it, but I wouldn't say he is the most criticized. We have had a lot of stinkers in the past: Pierce, A. Johnson, Harding, Buchanon. I truly hope that history remembers George W. Bush as the lying, greedy, self-serving president that he is, but I can't help but wonder if somehow being a war-time president won't bring about some sympathy.

He is the most useless, anyhow.
He has demeaned the position of president, and America has lost much prestige - built up over many years - around the world.
There is a tide of hate against America, and it is all due to George Bush.
No one likes to see the most powerful state on earth ruled by a murderer.
He condemned Hitler a few days ago, but Hitler was Mary Poppins compared to George Bush.
The world will never understand why Americans gave George Bush a second term, knowing at that stage that he was a dangerous lunatic.
It does not say much for the intelligence of the average American voter that they could allow themselves to be duped so soon again.
History will realise that Bush was a mass murderer and a war monger who was overwhelmed by power, but it will be too late then.
Many, many more people will die before the penny drops.
On top of all that, the man is a fool.
But a dangerous fool.

Yes and Yes.
He has made the whole world hate us.
George W. Bush is a moran. He should be impeached and executed for high treason of the United States of America.
Hes too stupid to think, he paid his way through elementry, middle, high school. and college, if not he would be stuck in the first grade!
He was never elected either time. He LOST the popular vote TWICE!

Historically, I don't know. I think he is the most criticized in quite some time.
I don't think he has demeaned the role. Most of his two terms have been about defending America. That sounds pretty justifiable to me.

Yes, there is a lot of Anti-Bush memorabilia floating around out there. Yesterday, I saw some kids wearing "Bush Sucks" t-shirts.

Most likely - but maybe not for long. American society is fickle. The Dixie Chicks were ostracized for criticizing him. Now it's a public sport.

No that might have been Andrew Johnson in his day, or Ulysses S Grant afterwards for the corruption in his cabinet.
