do you think they are true? can we actually sense something strange going on?
I have one, and there is no reason for me to have it, but I have. I think I have this guy that I know but not met, check up on what I do online. There is no reason in his behaviour towards me to suggest that he'd want to, or to suggest he has any interest in what I have to say. I have a feeling he's quite a secretive person and a tad over sensitive. If I mention him at all online, the pattern changes, either he'll stay away for a while or look more frequently, anybody else that I mention who I thought it might be, the pattern wont change. There is definitely a secret viewer, that never responds or answers me back. I dont talk to this person, we dont get on very well. I have asked him outright before, he got all defensive and quite rude, so I'll not do that again. But why do I have this gut feeling, it's strange!

Always trust Your 'gut feeling' or as some people call it, 'intuition'. This feeling will always guide you in the right direction, it's usually when we ignore it that we end up in trouble.I'm not telling you to be paranoid, just relax and listen to it. He is a curious person who likes to watch so to speak, rather than get involved that way he cannot be judged. He hates criticism so much that he avoids it by doing this sort of thing. I feel he's harmless but I realize his behavior can be annoying.Don't be scared of your gut feeling, I will guide you.

Our brains are really good at matching patterns. Many times it will take data and react to it without us really being able to follow the string of causes that made it react. Of course, that also means we get a lot of false positives, where we basically find patterns in random static and nothing is really there.

The false positives are why we are able to see faces in clouds or hear "ghosts" in old houses. We also often react off of small things we associated with bad things happening in the past. For example, a certain color shirt could cause someone to instantly not like someone else, if a friend wore that color shirt when something bad happened.

However, gut feelings can also warn us of stuff that is there. Because our brains match patterns so well, we can pick up slight facial expressions or postures that indicate the mood or character of another person., Many times they are correct hunches.

The best bet is to trust your gut feelings to a certain extent, but also try to figure out what about the person or situation makes you feel this way.

Yes, gut feelings can often be true.
Though unlikely to help with cyber-stalkers a book called BLINK may interest you as it describes for example an instances of how gut feelings came into play where a large amount of money was at stake for an piece of sculpture. It also goes into the theory of gut instincts. Good Luck.

If you mean why do we have feelings, that's because they come in handy during evolution - animals that run away from threats because they feel fear are more likely to survive than animals that don't feel fear and so don't avoid predators.

If you think you're being stalked by a crazy person online, I've met people like that before. The only thing to do is ignore him. If he really is stalking you, then he wants to feel like you're paying attention to him. If he's not, then you're just a bit paranoid. Either way, behaving as though he's not there will make him leave you alone (if he is there) and help you not to worry about it (if he isn't).

It is basic good sense to keep our minds in objective reality. Then from that basis, we can judge our gut feelings as true or not. Gut feelings can be true, but they can be false too. I only say that because there is confusion about what a true gut feeling is. A true gut feeling comes from the spirit of a person and is a survival tool. I was starting to walk down an empty street in Guatemala City when suddenly out of the blue I had an overwhelming feeling of danger. I stopped, backtracked, and took a crossing street and walked down a street that was crowded with people. When I get those feelings, and I don't get them often, I pay attention to them and act immediately to get myself out of danger. Even though I have been trained to kill a man with my bare hands, there are no guarantees. A good punch could knock me out or a knife in the kidneys could completely wipe me out. So, I always opt to flee danger and fight only when absolutely necessary, and then with no restraint. My instincts have served me well, but I don't get lost in that line of thinking. I stay rooted in objective reality. However, objective reality says there are some bad predators out there so I stay alert everywhere I go and don't want to wait for a gut feeling to give me the first warning. Not only that but often when danger is near there is no gut feeling. That causes me to wonder about gut feelings and makes we wonder if sensory imput is what triggers the gut feeling rather than a spiritual knowing. Because it is true that people have been killed from behind and no gut feeling saved them. So obey a gut feeling when there is danger, but don't rely on that always saving your life. A good grasp of reality serves you best.

Your gut feeling could be simply your intuition that analyzes everything so fast you do not realize the process that just happened. It could also be a sixth sense which is a little harder to classify.

In any case sometimes we are right, partially right, or just plain old wrong about this feeling. I can't say in your situation but if you are feeling this gut reaction it is always wise to investigate things further. Just try not to be too obvious about it until you are a little more sure.

Gut feelings are real. They are our subconscious minds and primal instincts inside of us coming out. Most people don't pay attention to them or even notice them. But if you are in tune enough to feel one. I would follow what your body is telling. Just like our dreams are a part of our lives and what goes on in our daily lives. There have been plenty of times that I have had a gut feeling about something or even a dream and it came true,

It's basic instinct! You should always go with your gut feelings- they never lead you wrong.
Why we have them I think is because when we were evolving, our instinct was stronger than our intelligence, and kept us out of trouble, as long as we listened to it, as we evolved, out intelligence became stronger, and we didn't rely as much on instinct (gut feelings) anymore. But it is a big mistake to lose that- or not pay attention to it.
Go with what you feel inside..This guy sounds strange..and may be dangerous...stay away from him!
Good luck!

The spiritual aspect of the gut feeling is the conscious, that voice that speaks to us in the background is for real.it is arguable that it actually exists but science has proven moreso through women that there intuition(gut)is stronger than that of the male species because of their attatchment and emotional strength.
the purpose of this phenomena is three-fold
1.Preparedness for any disaster or goodfortune
2.Warning not to indulge in any dangerous activity
3,Reminder that we are not in control of our lives but someone else out there is(invisible, unknown being)
