Yes, unfortunately as much as we love him it seems that the drummers always fall to the curbside. He has talent but John and Paul in the forefront and Darkhorse George always seemed to outshadow him on stage for apparent reasons! Additionally, the music royalties (for song writing) definitely belongs to John and Paul as they wrote the most successful tunes. Too bad Michael Jackson has the rights to them now. If Paul wasn't paying Heather so much alimony, he probably could have bought his songs back!

Yes, they would have. I would rather say history shows they made it with him. Ringo was a perfect fit. John and Paul had strong personalities. Ringo was happy in the background. While not the greatest drummer he played the songs just the right way. His drumming on the White Album was great. Not overdone. Ringo is very witty as shown in the movie "Hard Day's Night."

Ringo is a good guy but cant give him all the credit, the drummer that got the band started was Pete Best, he was replaced before the band took off for the US, basically because of his personal differences with the group. Ringo was his replacement and his talent was questioned for quite a while after joining the band, Pete Best was a hard guy to replace.

I am a total fan. Ringo made the group. He was also the most normal one.

It was Paul and John who made the group. They would have been fine if it had been just the two of them. I'm sorry but George and Ringo were just fillers.

yes, ringo was a unique character, and added his own flavor to the phenomenal quartet. and his drumming with the syncopated rhythms was also unique. but with the legendary pair of singer/songwriters, the beatles would have been a hit nevertheless.

The Beatles made more money on royalties from their music compositions, than they did performing.
