Simple. The CIA had Osama bin Laden, and "Sandy" lacked the moral fortitude to give the order, instead of saying..oh...oh, I don't have that authority! We had him, and we had him in Sudan, and Clinton chickened out!
Great Question...God Bless You

Well, the 9/11 special is going to show incidents that DID NOT happen during the Clinton administration. Namely that we had Bin Laden surrounded in Afghanistan and could have killed him there. Clinton gave the CIA carte blanche on taking Bin Laden out.
I love the fact that republicans accuse the Clinton administration of not trying to take Clinton out. Yet, clinton was the closest we got to taking him out. We missed him in a tomahak strike by less than 15 minutes. Or, as the republicans like to claim, everytime he tried to strike at Al Qaeda, it was just to divert the nation's attention from Lewinsky.
Bunch of moronic rat-ba$t@rds

At the very least, Sandy Burgler was trying to hide information that would have corroborated the suspicion that the Clinton administration failed miserably in dealing with serious terrorist threats. Track-covering, dishonesty, misleading, self-serving and outright lies. Typical of how Clinton and his ilk ran the show, and continue to operate. Excellent question!

The powers that be must be loving this, watching democrat and republican at each other's throats instead of attacking the real enemy.911 was allowed to happen by BOTH administrations and the fact that people who had the responsibility of protecting the public failed massively and several of those people have been promoted. Especially the General who was in charge of NORAD!
Both administrations are guilty of encouraging extremism and preventing it's terrorst outcomes prior to 911.

I just watched Loose Change last night, and I confess to not being even close to intelligent enough to understand all the implications, nor am I into politics, but this is a DVD everyone should see. And B...to your answer, maybe you should see 'On Native Soil' before you make judgements bub.

I believe Ben Laden is being protected by our government and we know his whereabouts at ever moment. The Clinton administration had nothing to do with it, it was paid thieves from the inside who choreographed this whole thing and they are still in office now. Think about it, it only makes sense...

I'll tell you why. It's because when the Clintons were in office they thought they had Carte Blanche and apparently, that whole group is still delusional....

sorry never heard that one. the one i heard was on the way out, clinton administration handed over to bush important information that something big (i.e. 9/11) was brewing. bush had more important things to do, golf, boating, go to the ranch, vacation, etc.
