Yes it is incredible.. I will always remember when it was all unfolding in front of me on 9/11, I had the sound turned down on the TV and I was thinking to myself I have never seen this film before, I must turn the sound up..... only to discover it was real, real, So Real!
I think that many of those survivors were so very brave to face the camera and to talk about it on the Docu drama.
Like you said how easily we forget. Just like our governments are forgetting those fighting in Irag and Afganistan for a seemingly good cause.

No I didn't watch it last night but have seen some amazing documentaries since the event.
I think it's great that all people regardless of creed, colour etc all seem to pull together when something like this happens.
It just a shame that it takes a disaster to make people do this.

Highlights the points of how inescapable our destinies are. Age, health, education, ability, socio-economic status are of no consequence when fate comes knocking. We never know the time nor the hour.
Also the professional classes were much less able to cope than the blue collar workers. Education needs to prepare people for life not just academically. Our first duty to ourselves is to survive and education needs to redress this imbalance - excelling in mental gymnastics is of little advantage where different skills and strengths are called for.

!Knowing exactly what was going to happen, watching each of those representations of the people who were killed horrifically in reality 5 years ago, made me feel really uncomfortable watching it- The whole idea that these people can do such a thing including London bombings, makes me not want to think about how it could happen again. Terrifying!
