Yes, the 911 Commission Report was after a lengthy investigations of Iraq and 911 = Iraq had nothing to do with it.
They went on to state there was no evidence of any financing to any Al Qaida groups whatsoever.
I hope you will put this propaganda to rest. Afterall, the 911 Commission did consist of republicans. So if they can admit this then why can't you.

Yes and Saddam and Bin Laden were in collusion with santa clause to deliver chemical and biological weapons at Christmas too.
Get a clue people, The secularist Sunni Saddam Hated Bin-Laden and Alqueda more than he hated Bush, and had plenty of reason to Fear Bin Laden. the Shia Majority in Iraq could have become destabalised by any large scale al-queda presence or deals.
Would those who post that there was a link post some proof to back up their wild and unsubstatiated incorrect claims? Even GW Bush has stated publicly on a number of occasions that Iraq and Saddam had NOTHING to do with 911.
Saddam additionally had NO wmd, or WMD systems, or pre-cursors or any capability what soever to create more when the invasion took place in 2003 and Bush knew it. The Uranium from Niger was a blatant hoax, everytime the US intelligent agencies sent the UN teams to a KNOWN site, it turned out to have been a site already destroyed by the UN after the last war.
Even before the last war, the quality of the chemical weapons that Saddam had was so poor that they could hardly be called a threat. and these where accounted for and destroyed. any that have not been accounted for may never have even existed, and even if they did, they would be rendered inert by the passage of time.
the only thing that has been a threat to the US and cuased loss of life to US citizens RE: Iraq, has been the Bush's decision to go to war there.
How many people wish Saddam was back in power, the region was as stable as back then and your troops where safe at home, or upholding international humanitarian laws elsewhere.
Saddam and Iraq where in no shape of form connected to 911. If the only thing anyone can come up with is an alledged al-queda member had been seen in Iraq, well yes, there is a claim, BUT it was in Kurdish Iraq, out of Saddams Control and if this is your standard of proof, then the millions of pounds funnelled to the Mujahadeen by the CIA and the numerous Al-queda agents trained in America at American Military bases means that Bush was also behind 911. Doesn't it? using that pathetic level of proof?
Face Facts, the US chose to attack a largely defenceless nation based on a waterfall of lies. 911 gave a convenient push.

Okay, Bush has never, ever said Saddam was behind 9/11, EVER. Now that that is out of the way, Saddam not only invaded Kuwait, but then flounted the UN resolution ending that conflict for over 10 years. He played games with UN inspectors, shot at allied aircraft, and openly gave money to Hamas suicide bombers. Those same bombers have killed Americans in the past. Add in the fact that his government was sheltering the mastermind behind the Achille Laurel hijacking where a old American in a wheel chair was murdered and tossed in the ocean, and the US showed exceptional restraint in not just wiping all of Iraq off the face of the earth. IMHO that would have been the better choice.

Iraq had very little contact with Al Qaida. Regardless of what others tell you. Al Qaida was active in the Southern and Northern No Fly Zones. Areas he couldn't hit. They were working for the overthrow of the Husseins.
There is no proof that the leader of the 9/11 hijackers met with iraqi intel officers in Prague. That was refuted both by the 9/11 commission and the Czech government.
The only link they have is AQ's number 2 man stopped in Baghdad for surgery on his way to meet with Bin Laden. He had yet to join AQ at that time.

I don't think a country has anything to do with 9/11. This isn't an attack from a country on 9/11. This isn't like Pearl Harbour where Japanese murdered 2500 people firing shots at a military base. This is by a private group of cowards who decided to freak the living god out of people by flying planes into American icons (unless the conspiracy theories are true, which there is good evidence of, in that case the Bush Administration would be responsible. A country did not supply the sketches of the building or helped them into flying lessons or figured the security systems at the Pentagon. They did it all themselves and their a bunch of stupid, suicidal cowards for doing so.

If Saddam would've sent WMD's to fundamentalists (that didn't even like his regime) they would've been used prior to the invasion, to fend off the attackers. Not when Saddam is about to be executed for crimes against humanity. Who would have sent "WMDs" to terrorists on Saddam's behest? Syria? Because, it certainly wasn't Iran.
If there is a link, George Bush hasn't told it to the public, but in his recent speeches he has tried to join terrorism with Iraq, while then a heartbeat later denying any such connection.

I think that Saddam Hussein and the previous Iraq government is guilty of causing 9/11. And yes, he and the previous government do have an affiliation with Al Quida.

No they are not innocent. Saddam might no have had no dealing directly with Al Queda, but his Security Minister and Militar Intelligence did. Saddam is so "Macho" I don't think he would consider even talking with Al Queda, it would destroy his image!
No, there were no bombs with delivery devices..but there were products to make bombs.
No, there was no nuclear bombs, but we know he purchased uranium from a African country.
No we didn't find hidden missiles filled with chemical or biological, but he did have chemical and biological depots and bunkers.
In all, in time he could of launched a chemical or biological artillery or rocket attack on US Troops in Kuwait, hit Israel, and hit the Arab countries that fought against him in the First Gulf War.
Great Question

The only link between Al Qaeda and Saddam may be Al Qaeda are terrorists and Saddam funded terrorists. Too many have jumped to the conclusion they are heavily linked. And even more don't see any connection.
We fought Germany during WWII but it was Japan that bombed Pearl Harbor. That is the closest analogy I can give you.
