Gay christians and the church... please explain..... sounds like poison to me....?

I don't think gays like to talk about being gay really... i know this sounds obvious bare with me read my last few questions...But gays are bombarding my beloved Gods church so i say to you, if ya gonna be christian be christain don't poison my Gods house and i wont torment your little web-page. How dare you try to shew me away......
If your coming to God come to god, at church we deal with peoples souls, you listening.... Don't play, i do not.

Why you are just a glowing example of a good christian! I wonder where you were when they were teaching the lessons of love thy neighbour, peace, forgiveness, understanding, the sin of pride, do unto others etc. But you don't want to listent to that do you fella, because fire brimstone, anger, intolerance are all a lot more fun, I mean how else are you going to feel morally superior to all the people out there? Without that you've got no self esteem right?

You can convince yourself of your divine right to judge and damn others because you choose to go to church and drop down on your knees every Sunday and ask for forgiveness, but deep down you are spiritually dead, because only those with no true faith are unable to find a shred of empathy or compassion for their fellow man.

If I was you I would spend more time trying to get closer to God and the only way you can do that is to rid yourself of your prejudice and obvious hatred and start showing a little more love towards your fellow human beings. They're a mixed bag and God has made us all different, but he's made us all.

Fundimentalist like you and the more insane Muslims out there are religious, but you have no true faith and no sprituallity and frankly you're making the world a very ugly and dark place to live at the moment.

You can spend the rest of your life going to church every Sunday and the best part of that on your knees praying, but you will never be truly at one with God whilst you've got hate in you heart. I'm going to pray for you and hope that you are able to be a better Christian and to understand where all your hatred and anger comes from and in doing so become closer to God.

My faith has taught me tolerance, understanding and a belief that something as beautiful as love can only be divine and therefore I cannot see that love between a man and a woman is any more beautiful or divine than the love between a man and a man or a woman and a woman.

It sounds like your'e taking a gays attempt at reasoning his/her existence personally. They're just trying to get through this life the same as you. I'm not gay, and I'm not in the habit of congratulating those who decide to be. But I also don't think that being gay neccesarily disqualifies you from heaven. Scripture says that nothing can seperate us from the love of God. Just because someone is gay doesn't automatically mean they're not Christian. Being gay in church doesn't poison it any more than the wife-beaters and alchoholics that you have in the pews next to you. The real poison is dissent among those who follow Christ. And I'm sorry to say, but if you do this on the basis of sexual orientation, it's almost on par with doing it for race. Sure it's a bad choice, but it's not damning.

Anyway to the question just of the fun of it. A Church is a man made invention to give those that attend a focal point for their rituals. A place to ask forgiveness for their repeated petty transgressions. God on the other hand is everywhere and not the exclusive property of the church. I for one believe in God, but not religion as for me they are different and unfortunatly it is people like you who cannot see the distinction between the two that are actually the real problem.

If there is such a thing as a god (I don't believe in god but I'm sure we'll all find out one day) but looking at it from a Christian point of view, well not yours but if god is all loving etc and makes everyone then he would've created gay people wouldn't he??

Thank god all Christians are not as narrow minded and silly as you - rather than worrying about what other people do, maybe you could try a bit of self improvement first.

I am not Christian, but logically... don't you think God would rather a nice gay person, than a narrow minded, judgemental person who worries more about criticizing others for being different than what that person actually does?

this is a typical occasion of present day Christians' a l. a. carte non secular perspectives. i'm an atheist myself and help gay marriage, yet even i will needless to say know the Bible's adverse thoughts on homosexuality. besides the fact that the Bible does not have something to declare bearing directly to the priority of gay marriage extraordinarily, it would take some astonishing psychological acrobatics to have faith that God might condemn gay intercourse and homosexuality greater often than no longer, yet smile on gay marriage. i assume one ought to reason that having gay intercourse interior marriage is by some skill much less sinful than having gay intercourse outdoors of marriage, yet it is notably flimsy grounds to help the argument that the Biblical god blesses gay marriages. greater probably, it is basically a demonstration of the cases. help for gay rights is turning out to be, and bigots are being referred to as out for their intolerance, as they properly could be. The church homes have been by this with ladies's rights, and that they have got been by it with civil rights, so according to possibility some are beginning off to catch on. For the rest, i would be content to observe them get dragged down the process social progression, kicking and screaming the whole way.

I am Christian, an orthodox one (you might think this not real christianity, but that is probably because of you being poisoned). I am gay too... I see no contradiction in this! What are your premises? a gay cannot be christian, well, I am. Oh, probably you mean I am not a real christian? Well, I am as real as you are, our claims are equal, as all human beings are equal. Oh, you might say i am not a "good" christian? But you must already have accepted that it is YOU who define good, or YOUR interpretation of christianity, or YOUR authorities' interpretation, or of those who YOU chose! Stay in YOUR temple and yu will soon be alone, for noone would like to poison someone who is already dead or is about to die in his own tomb.

I have never heard so much narrow minded hatred.
Surely the God you speak of is the all loving God. Who wants all of us to be in relationship with him?
If you think that being gay is sinful - fine.
But remember, let him with out sin cast the first stone.
We would not be human is we were not sinful. Something to ponder on.
By the way God is not your God alone. So less of "my" God!
