i say eraser when refering to erasing pencil markings and rubber when refering to condoms... preferably unused :P

We say eraser here. A rubber is a condom. Don't want to make the mistake and ask for a rubber in class!

I would say rubber, since I was born in England and learnt "Cambridge English".
But since I'm in Spain, I say "goma" too...
