change your pad every four hours to avoid infection. not every time your pee. when you throw the pad away roll it together and wrap toilet paper around it once. (so everone who looks in garbage will not see a bloody pad) the sticky side will hold the toilet paper and throw it in the garbage. do not wash it. its disposable.

Woah! You only change it when you feel it necessary, or when it is full. You don't have to wash it first, but don't flush it down the toilet as it causes pollution and can get stuck. If it comes in a plastic wrapper, use that to roll it up in, and put it in the bin. Maybe wrap it in toilet paper as well if you are worried about the smell. Change it whenever you feel you need to. Some people change them often even when not full, because they don't like the feeling of it being bloody and smelly, but you will know when. Just check every time you go to the loo, and if it looks half full or more, change it.

change the pad when it gets too damp or every 4 hours, Blood leaving the body can become filled with bacteria this will cause odor and can cause infection so after 4 hours it's important to change your pad
