While Voodoo Child (Slight Return) speaks about superhero abilities, the lyrics of this longer song are more magical and mystical in nature. Hendrix sings about things such as "outskirts of infinity", "venus witch's ring" and "Jupiter's sulphur mines".

I think it was Voodoo Chile. An accented vesrsion of Voodoo Child

My husband thought it was Voodoo Chili as well. I almost wet myself laughing when he asked me what it meant. Seems it's a popular misconception.
