Has anyone ever looked forward to something and has been frustrated by the outcome? Maybe a holiday that went badly wrong somehow? Your first time in love maybe?

I've got 2:

-When I lost my virginity. I thought it was going to be something special and amazing, while in truth it was a little awkward and uncomfortable.

-The first time I lived with a guy. We hadn't been together long, but he seemed lovely. We moved in together and it turned out that although I had a job too, I was expected to do all the cooking, cleaning, washing etc... AND his mum spent most of her time round at our place checking up on me! Plus he got violent, so I left! I'm planning on moving in with my bf now, but we've been together for ages, and this time it's planned!!

yes- you build up the event in your head and it usually is never as good as you wanted it to be. The only once in a lifetime experience that I wasn't disappointed by was a totally free cruise to Bermuda -ALL expenses paid. We had a blast.

Life is like that! Sometimes it works the other way. We dread something and it turns out awesome.
