Yeah.. around 5 feet thereabouts.
I always think Vespas are suitable. Anything else?

Don't know what style of bike you're looking for, but most of the cruisers AKA harley's, Suzuki Intruders, Yamaha Stars, etc. offer lowering kits for the suspension. My Suzuki VL 1500 Intruder has only a 27 inch seat height and can be lowered an additional 2 inches, easily! Harley makes a nice Dyna Low Rider and has a lowering kit that brings the seat height down to around 25 inches and is real popular with the shorter, hispanic women in my area. No, it's not a chick bike, but it can be made low enough for women who don't even hit the 5 foot mark!

Ignore the previous answers. Engine size has nothing to do with height or size. You need a bike with a low seat height and center of balance. I would recommend a Yamaha Vstar 650 or 1100 custom. The bike can be dropped using the Julio Slam to around 24 inches or so, and stock is at 27 I believe. Very well balanced and low slung and easy to ride bike.

Check out the short biker list (see link below).

You can have just about any bike lowered, but you're better off starting with one that's already on the low side.

One that I can personally recommend is the Honda Magna. It's 28" stock, and I had mine lowered about 2" more. (I'm selling it in Milwaukee; if interested shoot me an email).

Honda Rebels are also low, although I don't have specs on them. But they're small in cc's as well.

The Spanish scooter, Derbi Atlantis is a good scooter to get around on. I own one, here in Victoria, BC. and ride all year
round, I get all kinds of looks from car drivers and all are very
respectful of scooter operators. Its a full 2 seater, so you can
carry a passenger also. Lots of foot room too. Underseat storage for your helmut and a bag hook for groceries.!

Are you talking bikes or scooters ? I am about 5'2 and have owned many bikes ranging from a Harley to a cbr600. Currently own a RGV250. Must admit scooters not my thing !

The Honda Rebel, Suzuki GN125 (and probably the slightly larger GZ250), and Yamaha Virago 250 are all ones you might want to look at.

Try a Honda Rebel or Yamaha Virago. They are small bikes. And you can get lowering kits.

Look at mid-size and smaller Jap cruisers. Low seat height is a big selling point with them.
