I was too ! Batch did better than I expected . I like to think Ben could have done a little better , but a win is a win no matter how you get it !

Charlie did a good job. QB rating of 125+, 3 TD's, no picks. Ben is much more mobile & throws better on the move & probably could have had at least two more TD's in the first half, but you can't really fault Charlie. He's 3-0 as a starter. It don't get any better than that.

Batch did fine, and doubt Ben would have done much better. Part of Batch's problem was that no one was really ready for the first game. He did fine was he started completing passes and got into the rythm of the game.

Batch did better than a lot of people thought. I think as long as he doesn't make mistakes and LOSE games for the Steelers, it will be a plus. Unlike Maddox.

He did just enough, which is all he needed to do, considering the talent around him. And you know Ben could have done better, but he wouldn't have needed to do more.

Patience is a virtue. When you are trying to make a judgment, there is such a thing as "It is too early to tell".
