Yes, you recite a simple prayer before breaking your fast:

"Allahumma inni laka sumtu wa bika aamantu wa 'ala rizq-ika aftarthu"

"It means: Oh Allah, I fasted for You and I believe in You and I break my fast with Your sustenance."

The fasting is between you and God, not really other people... as your relationship with God should be strengthened throughout Ramadan and carried with you for the remainder of the year.
