I'm sorry that you are bigoted and small minded. Just accept that different people have different sexual preferences from you. Why would you want everyone to be the same?

Isn't the real problem the so-called "pride"? What people do in private is a matter between them and their God. Personally, I'm a hetero - bit I don't go on hetero pride marches or bang on about it until everybody is sick of hearing about it.
In fact, it's probably a good thing today - we're a desperately overpopulated planet anyway so non-reproducing pairs must be better than a population cull. The touble is that the nations/religions who detest homosexuality will be the ones to win - think about it!!!
In passing, the attitude of homos is clearly shown by the fact that they shanghaid the word GAY. It has a perfectly normal meaning : "Of happy and cheerful disposition". Why then did they choose to use that word "Gay"- simple - it makes it seem "nicer" to a hostile public. So, where one once used the expression "The gay young man about town" now, it's asking for a punch. The name for these people is Homosexuals and it's no good them saying that "we don't like the term" I don't like the expression "over 50s" but then, I'm over 50 so I have to accept it. it's the truth after all.
The brutal truth is that it tends toward extinction and if that's what they want, it's up to them. Currently, the only way they can maintain their numbers is to persuade others, particularly the young, that's is "right and proper". If those young people listened to their parents and teachers, homosexual numbers would dwindle very rapidly.

These are purely your views - looking at your question I can see that you have no real reasons for disliking gay people, therefore it must be an environmental factor that has caused your dislike. You wouldn't happen to be a religious person by any chance would you? And what "most serious practice" are you referring to? Issues - you have lots of them. It seems to me that you are trying to rationalise it out because you yourself have gay feelings which is fine. Open up your mind a bit and you might feel far more comfortable with yourself.

To 'rationalist_999', who clearly has a mind even smaller than the asker - people do not need to be persuaded to be anything. To be gay is not a choice, just as to be hetero is not a choice, you just are. The choice was made for you before you were born. Problems arise when you try and act against that choice- it can make for a very unhappy existence. And being as human nature is predominantly to choose the easier path, why would anyone choose or allow to be persuaded to be gay?

What is your problem? You have assumed you know what goes on the minds of all gay people and that you can speak for them. So, what do you actually know and on what do you base these rambling and senseless opinions on? Do you know a lot of gay people. Have you asked them for their opinons? Do you really know anything about being gay? What most serious practice is being referred to. Outside of being obviously prejudiced, you don't make much sense.

There is nothing special about being gay? What makes you so important? Everything around has a right to exist. Doubt that and you will be doubting the rest of your life.

You are making very little sense. Your discriminatory attitude won't be changing anything at all. There is nothing wrong with the way gays act and diversity IS good for society.
The ones that are damaging society are people like you, those who encourage discrimination and attempt to force others into acting/believing as they do.

What gay culture, what tastes? Or are you just stereotyping? any idiot would know, that being gay isn't a life choice, it is within genetic makeup, it is also a 'practise' as old as mankind. Bigoted misunderstanding and prejudice are much more distrustful than being homosexual.

It's not some kind of conest hunny! It's just the way people are, it's like saying everyone is pretending to be straight because they just want to fit in or be popular... Oh Wait! I think that's right!

First of all, we are not preaching gayness. We are not trying to convert others to be LGBT. We are just a community that welcomes people of the same orientation and their friends, but defends ourselves like in any situations when we are offended. We are not making a wave to turn the world into a gay world, so please stop preaching your straightness.

There is no mainstream /non-mainstream in sexual and gender orientation. Either you are, or you are not. It is not like you want to join a club or what. We welcome debates but those have to be logical or at least make sense.
