YES! Ignore all the naysayers and doubters in here. The Buffalo Sabres very definitely have the team to win it all! Our team is a perfect blend of youth, skill, speed and hustle combined with veteran leadership and a real sense of camaraderie. These guys really play for each other and their loyal fans. I love this team!
And again, YES, the Buffalo Sabres are going to win the Stanley Cup in 2007. Bet on it!

From our lips to God's ears....I've been waiting over 30 years for this....
I can make no real predictions (look at the predictions from last year and you know how futile they are) but I know I'll be watching every minute.
I hope the players we lost are compensated for and the tremendous chemistry stays the same. We also need more luck in the injury department. You'll never convince me that last years team was not a Stanley Cup champion team except for the string of bad luck.
I love dem boys, and wish them a fabulous season!

Being a Montreal fan I would say the Habs will win. But still I agree that Buffalo NEVER won the Cup since they are in the NHL since the mid 60's ...so they deserve it! Good luck Buffalo and have a nice week-end too buddy! ;p

The team definitely has a lot of depth. They resigned most of their free agents (they still have to resign Ryan Miller as far as i know, and that's crucial). Provided those players play like they did last year, the Sabres definitely have a shot.

Lost too many players over the summer, and didn't replace them with much. So, I'm sorry to say I really don't think so. They have a better chance then the Leafs, but what team doesn't?

I dont think they are a legitimate contender this year, but with some fine tuning and one more season under their belt, im sure seasons following they will be. The Cup will come back to the west this season, i just cant say who will take home, i Hope Calgary, but we will see

no, they'll have a decent regular season.
You know how some cities are known as "the city of Champions". Buffalo is slowly becoming "the city of losers".
(four super bowl losses in a row can do that to a city)
