WASH YOUR HANDS THOROUGHLY AND OFTEN!! Sorry to yell, but so many people don't understand the true importance of handwashing, and they either don't wash their hands often enough or, more importantly, don't wash them properly.
Also, don't sneeze or cough directly onto the baby's face. Do it in your hands and then wash them immediately before you touch anything. Don't kiss your baby anywhere but the top of her head.

the biggest component is to bathe your fingers a lot! before feeding her, before replacing a diaper, even before determining on her up. Wash your fingers each and each and every time you sneeze ,blow your nostril, or cough. As many colds as i have had my daughter has never been ill and she or he's distinctly a lot a 365 days previous and that i do not breastfeed. in case you do breastfeed nevertheless keep your fingers washed although the antibodies on your milk will keep her from getting ill.

I just went through this with my 5 month old. My husband and I both had it . Even though we sanitized constantly she still got it. Called the doc and he gave me some meds. The worst thing about it is if her nose gets stopped up to where she can't eat. You have to do the sucker thing, That broke my heart! Good luck all you can do is SANITIZE!

There are no guarantees. The best you can do is wash your hands before you pick her up or touch anything you give her and be very careful not to breathe or cough on or near her. As you already know, I am sure. Good luck. I am crossing my fingers for you.

You can't always prevent those things. Just make sure to wash your hands a lot, try not to breathe all over her. If she starts getting stuffed up, put a humidifier in her bedroom at night.

There is not a lot you can do, because you have constant contact with her although if she is old enough, give her some orange juice to boost up her vitamin c.

Send her to her grandparents. No, honestly give her vitamin C (Oranges, Lemon) and warm teas (chamomile, sage...).
