Yes, I've tried it. It's effectiveness varies depending on the skill of the acupuncturist. I went to one who was trained in Korea and was the head of the acupuncturist association board there. He was quite elderly and very knowledgable and wise.

He was able to cure some longstanding aches and pains and also staved off several bouts of flu. I found it helpful.

The needles do not hurt while they are in, but sometimes I had some discomfort when he was pulling them out, mostly the needles in my ears. But they are just like pinpricks. It's worth it. Very worth it for headaches.

I found it to be beneficial when I experienced it. I know one person who went because of peripheral neuropathy. He went for treatments for about 9 months, and has no pain or tingling in his legs, now. I know another women being treated for a thyroid imbalance -- she just started, so I don't know the results, yet.

While all alternative and complimentary therapies work to balance the energy in the body, each does it in a different way. Some people respond better to some therapies than others do. It all depends on what you need to bring your body back into balance.

How much -- We go to a lady in Michigan, and she charges $50 a session.

Is it worth it -- Yes. You should give it three sessions to decide if it's helping you or not. If you've had a chronic imbalance, it's not reasonable to assume any therapy could "fix" it the first time.

Can you feel a change -- I do.

Have had it done for years. It depends on where you go. Some alternative medicine schools have student clinics where the price is about $40, sometimes a professional acupuncturist will charge about $70. It depends on your ailment as to what works for you. It can be very relaxing.

Acupuncture is expensive. It works in many cases but not in all. It doesn't hurt.

Two years I had chronic headaches. After trying accupuncture they where gone.

But it does not work for everybody. A friend of mine has the same problem, but accupuncture did not help her.

I think in this kind of therapy there is also a psychological aspect - placebo like...
