It is my first time to take algebra, and apparently I have forgotten everything about fractions that I have ever learned. Could someone tell me step by step how you change 66 2/3% into a fraction?

Example: 12,5%
The first thing you need to do when you have such problem is to represent 12,5 as 12 and 1/2.
Then you multiply 12 by 2 and add 1. Then you divide by 2 (in our case. If it were 12 and 1/3 you would do: 12x3+1 and divide by 3). The result is 25/2. Then you divide by 100 and you get 0.125. Now, if you want to represent it as a fraction, the only thing you need to do is somehow get 100, 1000, 10000 .. In this case you might multiply per 8 to get 1000. This means that this is 1/8! That's all! 12,5 % = 1/8 !
