I don't get why it couldn't have happened as the 9-11 Commission said it did. Have you read the report? I read most of it, and it's quite convincing and consistent with newspaper accounts near the time of the event. There was also a very good PBS Frontline broadcast a few years ago on why the towers fell from an engineering view.
I couldn't find the Frontline show on line, but here's a link to an architect's site that discusses how the towers fell. Basically they weren't built to withstand such an impact -- it could not have been anticipated back in the 1960's.

Shahbazz says 9-11 was done to justify the Iraq war. Isn't a simplier explanation that the neocon group of Rumsfeld, Cheney, Wolfowitz, and Feith KNEW from current events and intelligence they got on the middle east, that a terrorist strike would likely occur in the US, in the near future. Remember the PDB titled "Bin Laden Determined to Strike Inside US". They anticipated that they could use this as an occasion or excuse for more intervention in the middle east.

Another investigation won't do a bit of good unless and until both the GOP and the Demcrats get off of their partisan butts and implement the recommendations that the bipartisan 9/11 Commission put forth. What are the odds of that happening in an election year, or for that matter in the last two years of a lame-duck presidency? Zilch. We'd be much better off spending money on programs and policies that we know will work (we just haven't fully implemented them because of bipartisan foot-dragging) instead of flushing money down the toilet on another investigation. This is a lot like the Kennedy assassination: A lot of speculation, a lot of credible conspiracy theories, but nobody will ever know the truth.

Tried to watch, but I must say that people that can believe that crap are the type of people that committed suicide when the war of the worlds was broadcast on the radio years ago. There are web sites that prove almost anything you can dream up.

Doesn't matter what an investigation is ever going to show b/c it is not truth that runs the media or these 'investigations' it is the ones that have stuff to hide and we hear only what they want us to hear.
Do i think this was an inside job? No, i do not. I really do believe it was done by terrorists. Do I think there were tons of cover-ups by the American Gov't? Absolutely!

i do support another investigation - but birdsnake is right.
Clinton was involved and so were a lot of other prominent dems AND reps (including the current admin). Something of this scale could not have occured if we had a true system of checks and balances.
Independent investigation means OUTSIDE OF ANY PARTY. no attachment to the government if at all possible

After hearing the Liberal democrats SQUEAL about CBS's Path to 911...One has to believe there is something they do not want America to know! From either party that would be enough to warrant a new investigation.

jeez. i seriously doubt there was a huge conspiracy! why would the govt of america kill its own people?? just to go to iraq and afghanistan and lose troops there?? I think that what happened on 9/11 was real. the only "inside job" was that the american govt thought "WOW, we were attacked, now we have an excuse to find ANY enemy and ATTACK them" i think thats what happened. I mean they werent planning for this to happen, but when it did they thought, "lets capitalize on the country's fear and anger".

Clinton is trying to keep his involvement covered-up.
He and the Democrats are using censorship to hide the truth about Clinton, Berger, and others who brought about 9/11.
Clinton has so much power, that we will never know all his involvement.
