Batman has beaten him many times, even one on one.
Check out Kingdom Come. Bruce schools Lex on being ruthless.
Also check out a late 1970's (early 1980's?) mini-seris "Who Killed Batman". Lex claimed that honor in one issue, but Batman proved him wrong and set him up to be caught.
Teamed w/ Superman in Public Enemies, Batman+Superman defeat Lex and the talent he's posed against them. (And that talent IS legion!)

Batman would win, as he has had a long history of defeating Lex Luthor at home and away as both Batman and Bruce Wayne.
