I've just instaled Firefox browser on my computer, it's so much better than Internet explorer!! Should I delete Internet explorer or do I need it for important reasons?

Its worth keeping because some websites only work in IE. There's a great little add-on for firefox at :
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1429/
which allows you to set some websites for viewing in IE. Basically when you go to a website that displays funny in FF, right click and select "view in IE" it will then open the website in internet explorer. When you're done just shut down IE and continue as normal. The best thing about this is that it remembers the sites you set it for - so when you return it automatically launches IE for that site.

Dont delete internet explorer.
There are some sites which do not work in the newer versions of Mozilla Firefox, so it is always handy to keep internet explorer even if you dont use it. also it helps when you log in into 2 accounts for checkin mail so that you can check both simultaneously.
But anyways, its your wish!

u can keep internet explorer or u can delete it there is no need of internet explorer files for the system to run but yes there r some sites that r only compatible with internet explorer. so my advise is that u keep internet explorer there is no harm indeed...

yes, thats what i said along time ago. but some sites Firefox cannot access because that site didn't put in a code so firefox can read it. so internet explore has to.
and reverse also

No, because some sites don't work properly in Firefox. I use FF as my main browser but occasionally have to use IE.

ohmigod no!!
do not try to delete internet explorer.
internet explorer is a core module of windows! you can mess up windows when you try deleting internet explorer

Yup u can do it but theres no need. But you can access IE only sites with addon for firefox i think name of it, is IE window. One of the most downloaded addons for FF.

There is no way that you can delete the IE, cos it is build-in in the OS. The only thing you can do is stop using it.

no...cause it might create conflicts with windows explorer...i tried it myself after installing opera but in the end i had to reinstall XP
