Television network ABC plans to air a miniseries aiming to "dramatize" the events leading to 9/11. We have not seen the footage yet. This creative work seems to be an admitted "entertainment revision" of historical facts. Furthermore, some claim that the miniseries suggests that terrorists were provided their opportunity due to decisions made during the Clinton administration.

We are 5 years out from this tragic event; it makes sense that people wish to capitalize on the ratings draw of creative works pertaining to 9/11. Unfortunately, with an election cycle looming shortly up the road, revisionist history appears nothing less than irresponsible and possibly malicious.

Should ABC scrap this miniseries and produce a more important artistic statement: "How the Carter administration won the Cold War?"

Top 11 reasons to air the Disney/ABC Christian-Right funded docu-drama "The Path to 9-11."

11. Maybe if we show their movie, they'll be appeased.

10. We got away with showing the Nixon-flunky scripted "Amerika" in 1987.

9. The conservative-owned Sinclair Broadcast Group aired the John Kerry smearing "Stolen Honor" a few weeks before the 2004 election.

8. If you give us a better two-day, six-hour set-up for President Bush's speech on the evening of September 11, 2006, we'll run that instead.

7. Artistic integrity: can't bear to shelve Emmy-worthy performance of New Kids on the Block alumnus Donnie Wahlberg.

6. Fox and defense contractor owned NBC and CBS have been doing more than their fair share of proping up this administration. It's time the only other network stepped up to the plate.

5. They've got Walt's head in a Coleman in an undesclosed double-wide!

4. Can't make a docu-drama about Bush's failure to capture bin Laden since 9-11-01 until we know how it ends.

3. Wouldn't want to offend the sponsors of the six-hour, commercial-free, prime-time network event.

2. Can't guarantee timely delivery of Cipro to all affiliates if we pulled it.

1. Lighten up. We'll all laugh about this after the rapture.

No way, This is one way to really expose the Short comings of the Failed chances to have Killed Bin Laden when we gave him the know how back in the 80's as the Cold war was coming to and end in Afghanistan and the failed Russian take over...Yes there maybe hype about it, but why else would the gov't so upset, hmm could it be Because Clinton was in Office at that time, after he did not inhale he only puff, and he didn't ahve sexual relations with Lewinsky...One only gets upset if caught in a lie or fail to act...We could have handled him so long ago, and it led to 9/11..The cold war was won after Carter left Office, Regan saw to that

Malicious is the word. And we could have "How the Carter Administration was 30 Years Ahead of its Time", featuring the solar panels on the White House that Reagan made it his first job to remove.

It's a mini-series which leaves me to believe a lot of poetic license has been used in its production. But I haven't seen it...so I don't know what to make of it.

But quite honestly, the fact that Bill Clinton is upset over it and is, in effect, making underhanded threats toward ABC if they air it "as is" leads me to believe that the show contains a high degree of accuracy.

Of course they should "scrap" the series, it's complete bull sh**. I don't know how the greedy whores in the movie and tv industry expect anyone who ever lived through the events of 911 to ever heal when it's constantly being shoved in our faces. Furthermore the Bush administration just wants to push the blame off on someone else. I swear to God we really are the dumbest people in the world for re-electing Bush. At least I can say I didnt vote for that no talent *** clown.
